Happy Cinco de Mayo

Every year on the 5th day of May, somebody stops and says to me “Happy Cinco de Mayo!!!”

My answer is always the same: I am not Mexican, I am Venezuelan and we don’t celebrate Cinco de Mayo. This is more like a American celebration or a really good excuse to party and get drunk with Tequila than any Mexican celebration at all.

But wait, what is wrong with that? Party and good times? Nothing, so I guess I better get on this train. And let’s do it SexyMuse style.

This week, we are bringing you Kristina Alexis. OMG is the only thing I can say, an incredible fun girl that is holding all the hottness that the world can handle; one of those models that makes me addicted to what I do. This is the 1st you probably see of her, but I can assure you this is not the last time you’ll see her sexy face (cause you are looking at her face, right? LOL)

One of the most successful events we had have to date, it’s definetly this “The Beauty and the Beach” workshop at Gulf Breeze, FL.

Not only several and talented photographers and models got together to create some very sexy and amazing images, somebody up there was looking out for us and provided us with one of the most beautiful days I’ve ever seen in Florida.

Jennifer Giles is a home grown Georgian. Raised in the metropolitan of Atlanta, some wouldn’t think she is from the south because she doesn’t have that southern accent or cowboy boots, but her hospitality, sassiness and classiness, as well as her southern cooking, makes her a classic southern belle.

Jennifer has many talents. She has 13 years experience as a flute player and knows how to write sheet music and has written a couple of original songs herself. Sometimes, you can catch Jennifer singing when she thinks no one is around and has a very lovely voice. She sang back up for a friend that was aspiring to be a songstress in 2008. Jennifer has also had a small amount of video time as an extra in the music video “Head Bussas” Performed by lil Scrappy and also was an extra in Tyler Perry’s upcoming movie “The Marriage Counselor”. She also has a secret love of poetry and expresses her deepest emotions on paper that most anyone can relate to.

So why do we all love Jennifer as a model? She has such a comfort in front of the camera it’s as if the camera was her soul mate. She never disappoints and is confident in everything she does. She is also a fast learner and takes constructive criticism very well. It’s so easy to fall in love with her because her smile lights up the room and her eyes are so captivating they suck you right in and she always has fun and makes the best of any situation. She has many faces and expressions that it makes a photographer feel like a little kid on Christmas.

So be on the look-out for this talent storm. She’s rolling in fast (and judging from these images, I’m sure she is going places!!!).

This workshop is not a paparazzi style shoot out. Per Wikipedia, Saint Patrick’s Day is a cultural and religious holiday celebrated on 17 March. The tradition came about at the instigation of the Irish Protestant organisation The Knights of St. Patrick.
